The following is the eulogy as given by sister Tara:
Braden Larry Dimler was born in Broadview, Sask. to
Larry and Ann
Dimler on January 22, 1987. Braden passed away suddenly
on August 6,
2006. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He
had a great
impact on so many peoples lives and his loving, caring,
unselfish, easy
going spirit will live on.

Braden lived most of his life on the family farm near
Grenfell, Sask. He
attended Broadview School from kindergarten to Grade 12.
He helped
with the farming and for a couple of years also worked
for Kilback Stock
Farm. After graduating high school, he moved to Regina,
Sask. and
worked with Ramjet Contracting Ltd. at the Coop Refinery
for 5 months.
In January of 2006 he moved to Prince Albert, Sask. to
further his
education. He attended SIAST – Woodland Campus from
January -
June 2006, to take the electrician course. After
completing the first
portion of this course, he moved to Edmonton, Alta. to
apprentice as an
electrician, working for Sierra Electric Ltd. until the
time of his death.

Braden was predeceased by his paternal grandfather John
Dimler;
maternal grandfather Alex Kaczmar and his infant nephew
Lucas Klein.
Braden is survived by his loving parents Larry and Ann
Dimler; three
sisters: Shantelle (Mark) Klein and their daughter Jaden
of Broadview,
SK; Tara Dimler of San Jose, California, U.S.A. and
Christy Dimler
(friend Tony Fortin) of Edmonton, AB.; grandmothers
Victoria Dimler
of Grenfell, SK and Elizabeth Kaczmar of Broadview, SK.
and numerous
aunts, uncles and cousins.

Braden was our unexpected bundle of joy from heaven. He
was the most
caring person, loved by all. Even when he was small, his
heart was so
big. He would do anything for anybody. One of his
elementary school
teachers said, “he was very bright, always polite and
saw the funny side
of things.” His fun loving attitude and sense of humour
were some of his
greatest qualities. There was never a dull moment when
Braden was
around. At his high school graduation it was mentioned
that “he had the
ability to make an entire cranky class burst out
laughing because of his
very strong sense of humour and laughter is a very good
medicine.”

He was blessed with many gifts and talents; everything
came so easily
for him. He was intelligent, athletic, hardworking,
dedicated and very
independent. He had the biggest heart of gold; he was
always willing to
help anybody out with anything. He touched many people’s
hearts in
one-way or another.

I would like to share with you two letters that his dear
friends wrote:
Jared Kemp wrote: Braden was a great person and an even
better friend.
I loved his sense of humor; he could always make me
laugh. He was one
of the smartest people I knew, in school he knew a lot
about everything,
especially history, sports and movie trivia. He was the
guy that everyone
wanted to hang out with. Braden was always eating and
loved his mom’s
food and lunches. I know he enjoyed the evening drives,
looking for deer
with his dad. It’s hard for guys to express their
feelings but I know
Braden loved you both very much. You were very
supportive and caring
parents. Braden and I shared some really great times
together. I was
proud to be his friend and I’m honored to be his
pallbearer. I will miss
Braden but I will never forget him.

Derek Ecklund wrote: Braden was a good friend of mine
and he will be
missed dearly by all who knew him. I knew him as a
hardworking
person, who had a heart of gold. He was a trustworthy
friend who could
bring a smile to anyone’s face and brighten their day no
matter what the
circumstances were. I’m not sure what else I can say
except that there
need to be more Braden Dimler’s out there. But no one
will ever
compare to the son that you raised. I am so very
thankful to have had a
friend like Braden.

He loved the great outdoors, doing such things as
hunting, fishing and
hiking. He enjoyed the evening drives with his dad or
hiking with his
brother-in-law Mark looking for deer. He spent a lot of
time playing
hockey or golfing. Hanging out with friends was his
favorite pastime.
He was the greatest son, the sweetest little brother, a
cherished
grandson, the most adored uncle, the dearest friend,
cousin, nephew and
a very dedicated employee.
Braden, we feel very blessed to have had you with us for
the short time
that we did. You are missed beyond measure and your
memory will live
in our hearts forever…until we meet again.
